I have always liked making things. My first foray into ceramics was at Lillstreet Art Center in Chicago around 2009. Life changed, but I came back to clay a few years later, this time with the intention of making things to share with other people. I’m a former member of Yours Truly, a cooperative art studio space in the Riverwest neighborhood of Milwaukee. I sometimes teach classes at Tooth & Nail, an art studio in the Lincoln Warehouse.
My ceramic work showcases textures, relying on either the natural qualities of various clays or individually stamped impressions. I’m proud of the pottery that I make and it is a humbling privilege to share it with my community.
